About CRAVE
My Mission
I believe there is a difference between happiness and joy. The Oxford dictionary defines the word ‘happy’ as “feeling or showing pleasure; pleased.” It also defines the word ‘joy’ as “a feeling of great delight caused by something exceptionally good.” I’ve experienced a lot of happiness, especially short term happiness. But I’ve also experienced pure joy and you don’t really know the difference until you have felt that joy. The way I experienced that joy was through God. Jesus wants us to experience this pure joy that can only be reached through Him. Everyday I crave that joy that Jesus provides. Once you crave something, you don’t stop thinking about it until you receive it. Sometimes you may crave something, receive it, and it may be the last time you ever crave it. But if you have experienced something exceptionally good it will turn into a constant hunger or in other words passion. That is what Jesus had for us, passion and such a great love that He would die for us. The joy that can be found with God is so so good and it can truly change your life. John 15:11 says, “I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.” Our joy is complete with Jesus, and it can produce great fruit for the kingdom of God. The following verse (John 15:12) states, “My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.” With the joy that Christ gives us we can spread the same love of Christ to others. We are all blessed with gifts from the Lord that produce His joy. It is important that we use the gifts that He gives us for His glory. It is a great privilege that I have this gift and that I am able to use it to spread the good news and His message. Through my home kitchen, I will to spread the goodness of God in hope that it might help just one person feel and hopefully, crave the joy.

Meet Your Baker
Hey everyone! First off, thank you for your interest in CTJ! I am Sophia Vacha and I am the creator for this little home baking business! I have always enjoyed being in the kitchen and it is a comfort place for me. In almost every culture, people gather for or around food. Food is a thing that people bond over and something people can enjoy together. In the Bible, Jesus feeds thousands while He teaches and He also does some of His teachings around the dinner table. I find that there is something special about providing the food (desserts, in this case), for a special event where people gather. Whether it is a wedding, birthday, or just a simple treat for the family. This is a way to spread God’s word and love through a gift that He gave me. I hope I can provide something for you and your family and friends to come together and experience the joy that Jesus provides.
With so much love,
Sophia
